Weirton Chrstmas Parade-2011
On Saturday, November 26, 2011 the marching band participated in the Weirton (West Virginia) Christmas Parade. They were joining the Weirton High School Band, Weirton Middle School Band, and the Brooke High School Band in the festivities. Line up was at 5:30p.m. and the parade started a few minutes before 6:30p.m. Oak Glen sounded wonderful, and I got many good comments from parade watchers. Good job guys!

Oak Glen High School Marching Band Christmas Parade Schedule 2011.
Oak Glen High School Marching Band finished their football season in recent time. They sounded absolutely wonderful, and are only getting better. With the season of Christmas now here, it is now time for local parades and festivities. The band will be marching in several parades, and helping us get into the holiday spirit with a medley of holiday tunes.
Here is the marching band's Christmas Parade Schedule:
If you attend any of these parades, you may see me there as well. I will be there taking photos, videos, and digital recordings of the band to be archived. If I get word that they will be participating in any parade not listed, I will add it.
Hope to see you there in support of our local band and legacy.

Welcome
Greetings folks. This page is currently under construction.
This site is dedicate to the Oak Glen High School Marching Band. Here I will add photos, videos, and digital recordings taken at events in which the marching band participated; whether it be a parade, public event, or football game. I also will keep the community updated by posting schedules and notices about these events. People do not take pictures or video like they used to (and should), so I will be using this (as well as other methods) to collect, archive, and promote records of today's and tomorrow's O.G.H.S. Marching Band.
This section of the blog is also under construction, but a list of videos uploaded to the "Oak Glen High School Marching Band" Youtube playlist can be seen to the left of this page. Click on the name, and it will take you directly to the videos. There are twenty four total videos so far, so expect some time before they are all up for you to see.
If you have any corrections, or suggestions; please feel free to email me (jacktyger@frontier.com), or just comment to this post.
Thank you for your patience, it will be up to par very soon.
Jackson.
